My 16.3hh mare was prone to colic with 2 serious bouts close together. We thought we would lose her. We were very careful with diet, new grass and her hay. So having done some research we brought this and she did not have another bout for the next 4 years. She sadly passed earlier this year but this was old age. I use this product on my 20 year old mare and have recommended it to many friends. I am a great believer in boosting our natural resources – gut flora being one (I take probiotics myself!). If you have a horse with gut issues I would certainly give this a try – it’s excellent value compared to some of the branded products:)
