Composition: Ground Fenugreek

Support weight gain, digestion and condition. Contains vitamins and stimulates appetite.

Fenugreek prides itself as a favourite among horses. It has a pleasant aroma and is used to tempt even the fussiest of eaters.

Fenugreek is fed to stimulate appetite and improve condition in poor doers, picky eaters or to tempt horses during convalescence.

When the ground seeds are soaked, a mucilage is formed. This mucilage can coat and soothe the gastrointestinal tract.

It is a good supplement for horses of all ages but should not be fed to pregnant mares or mares suspected of having hormonal issues.

• These nutritious seeds contain 20% protein, 8% oil, rich source of calcium and contain vitamins A,B,C and E.
• The chemical composition of fenugreek is similar to that of cod liver oil.

Note: Not recommended for pregnant mares or mares with hormonal issues!

Feeding guidelines:

20-30g daily for an average 500Kg horse. 1 x 15 ml scoop of fenugreek powder weighs approximately 10 grams. So feed from 2 to 3 x 15 ml scoops of product per day.

If fed at a rate of 20g per day a 1 kg bag of fenugreek powder will last about 50 days.

If fed at a rate of 30g per day a 1 kg bag of fenugreek powder will last about 33 days.
