Copper is an essential trace mineral often lacking in a horse’s diet and plays an important role in the repair, maintenance, and development of hooves, joints, bones, tendons ligaments, and cartilage. Copper is also required for the production of the pigment melanin which gives hair its colour and supports a healthy coat and helps prevent coat, mane, and tail bleaching.

Copper is necessary for the mobilisation of stored iron in the horses body. Copper absorption is complex as it interacts with several other trace elements, which can affect copper absorption in the equine diet.

Usage level: 1 x 5ml level scoop supplies approximately 6.9 grams of product. 6.9 grams = 250mg elemental copper (as sulphate).

Fed at the rate of 1 scoop per day. 1 x 1kg bag will last 144 days.

Do not exceed 1 scoop per day & adjust intakes if other copper sources are used.
