Vitamin E is considered an essential nutrient because it cannot be synthesised by the horse.

Vitamin E is found naturally in fresh grass, however, levels begin to drop the moment grass is cut for hay. Research has shown that vitamin E is often deficient in the diets of horses that do not have access to continual grazing on fresh green grass as well as in horses grazing on winter pasture.

Suggested intake:

For a horse doing heavy work feed 2 – 3 x 10 ml scoops per day.

For a horse doing light to moderate work feed 1 – 2 x 10 ml scoops per day.

For maintenance feed 1 x 10 ml scoop per day.

For foals and weanlings feed half a scoop per day.

One 10 ml scoop provides you with 1 mg of Organic Selenium  & 1000 iu of Natural Vitamin E.

How long will a bag last?

A 1 kg bag will last approximately 100 days when fed at maintenance.
