Pro Veteran is an advanced equine forage balancer specifically formulated for elderly horses and ponies, as well as adult horses and ponies requiring additional immune system and joint support. This product provides an expertly blended combination of minerals, vitamins, and amino acids in optimal ratios to address nutritional imbalances in forage.

Pro Veteran includes B vitamins essential for the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and protein, nerve transmission, energy metabolism, and red blood cell production. These also support the nervous and immune system, as well as the health of hooves, skin, hair, eyes, gastrointestinal tract, and liver function.

Glucosamine, MSM, and Boswellia are incorporated at optimal levels to promote mobility and healthy of joints, tendons, and ligaments.

Glucosamine, a fundamental component of connective tissues, contributes to cartilage and synovial fluid.

MSM, vital for connective tissue, plays a significant role in hooves, bones, joints, and skin. Boswellia helps maintain joint flexibility, support overall mobility, soothe the gastrointestinal tract, facilitates normal colon function, and contributes to respiratory tract health.

To support a healthy immune system, Pro Veteran contains Natural Vitamin E, a highly absorbable form of Vitamin C, and Vitamin A.

Milk Thistle Seed Extract is included to support healthy liver function and provide extra antioxidant benefits.

VistaCell is added to foster healthy gut microflora and maintain the correct pH balance.

Feeding Guidelines

Suggested intake:

Feed 2 x 75ml scoops per day for an average 500kg horse.

Feed 1 x 75ml scoop for an average 300kg pony.

Do not exceed 2 scoops per day & adjust intakes if other trace element sources are used.

Pro Veteran is a powdered supplement that we recommend is mixed with a soaked base feed such as a suitable soaked mash, soaked hay cobs, soaked grass nuts, soaked beet pulp etc.

We recommend additional micronised linseed meal throughout the winter months or if a horse is fed predominantly hay or haylage, this is for the essential fatty acids that a horse may be short of when grass is restricted. Essential Fatty Acids cannot be manufactured within the body & must be present in the diet.
