Jiaogulan is a herb that has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries to promote vitality, having properties that are similar to Panax Ginseng.
Jiaogulan supports the production of nitric oxide from vascular endothelial cells that line the walls of the horse’s blood vessels, making it an excellent herb to support circulation.
Healthy circulation is important for the delivery of key nutrients, oxygen, and immune cells to tissues, and is an important factor in supporting healthy hooves, tendons, ligaments, respiratory system, and muscle function in horses.
Jiagulan can also be combined with spirulina to support respiratory health when influenced by environmental factors such as mold spores and dust.
